As post workout recovery shakes go, they don't come much better than this!
For this easy post workout recipe, I've combined the incredible Salted Maca Caramel PERFORM protein powder with complex carbs from oats and bananas, along with some cashew butter for a healthy fat source.
Ready in just a few seconds, this is my go to smoothie whenever I've had a tough workout and need to recover!
This smoothie also doubles up as a great breakfast recipe, with the gelatinised maca root in PERFORM giving you a great energy boost to kick start your morning. The fibre in the oats also helps to sustain blood sugar to keep you going all the way through til lunch.

SALTED CARAMEL POST WORKOUT RECOVERY SHAKE
- 100g banana (roughly one large)
- 1 scoop Salted Maca Caramel PERFORM
- 1 tbsp oats
- 2/3 cup almond milk
- 1 heaped tsp cashew butter
Simply add all your ingredients to your blender, blitz and enjoy after your next workout!
